Deputy Minister Le Tan Dung receives Deputy Chief Representative of JICA Office in Vietnam

On November 9th, at MOLISA headquarters, Deputy Minister Le Tan Dung had received Mr. Murooka Naomichi, Deputy Chief Representative of Japan International Cooperation Agency in Vietnam (JICA) on promoting the cooperation programs and projects on the field of vocational education, skilling improvement and social security.

Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Minister Le Tan Dung and Mr. Murooka Naomichi highly appreciated the close cooperation between MOLISA and JICA in implementing cooperation programs and projects over the past time, including: vocational education, vocational skills improvement and social security. Deputy Minister Le Tan Dung affirms that MOLISA always pays his attention to the cooperation programs and projects.

At the meeting, Deputy Minister Le Tan Dung and Mr. Murooka Naomichi agreed to further strengthen cooperation between MOLISA and JICA in the near future. Two sides would focus on creating favorable conditions as well as coordinating to deal with difficulties, problems for businesses and organizations of Vietnam and Japan in relating activities, such as: Connect information on labor for Vietnamese workers to work abroad under labor contract; Strengthen vocational education using ODA loans of Government of Japan…

In coming time, Deputy Minister Le Tan Dung suggested that JICA continue to support MOLISA on project "Building a hotline to advise and support victims of human trafficking". Also, JICA supports Vietnamese people with (wheelchairs, prosthetics,...); cooperate on manufacturing and assembling prosthetic limbs, wheelchairs and shakers to improve the product quality for Vietnamese people.
