According to the investment cooperation plan to support the free installation of 200 water purifiers for schools and health stations in Soc Trang province sponsored by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), to help the industries and localities to better understand the features of water purifier equipment according to Japanese technology (using activated carbon from rice husks), at a meeting with Tromso Co., Ltd., Hiroshima Prefecture (the unit that manufactures machine equipment). water purifier) ​​has provided detailed and specific information about the features of the water purifier, helping the units in Soc Trang better understand how to use it and be able to apply it effectively in the province.

Speaking at the meeting, Comrade Vuong Quoc Nam said that Soc Trang province and Hiroshima province - Japan have had many exchange and cooperation activities since 2014 until now, but in 2020 due to the impact of the epidemic. Therefore, the exchange and cooperation between the two sides is limited, the exchanges are done in the form of online meetings.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also emphasized: "This sponsorship is really meaningful for Soc Trang province, creating conditions for people living in the affected areas to use clean water, ensure safety and quality. all for health. In the near future, in order to enhance the efficiency of coordination between the two sides, the Provincial People's Committee will also direct the specialized agencies of the province to provide necessary information to Tromso Co., Ltd.
